Kinja'd!!!

The marked text says "measured speed: 4800 kph - Legal speed limit: 40 kph".

I don't know what they were running on that VW, but I want some.

Daaaaammmn.

The fastest speed I ever reach was 600mph. And that's in a Gran Turismo.

Yup, one of these. 1.6 four cylinder, FWD, entry level hatchback from the mid 90's.

They did a bunch of crazy band themed ones in the early nineties. Same group that did the Harlequins. There was also a Pink Floyd one

At 4800 km/h, this guy smoked the SR-71 Blackbird and the B-70 Valkyrie, by over a Mach.

If this happened to me, I'd fight it with the simple 'My car can't even attain that speed—throw it out because the radar gun was wrong' argument. (about 2,982 mph, in case you're wondering.)

I believe that's what this guy did too, save for the radar being wrong part. Cops will pull this shit every now and then to try and catch people who pay their fines without reading. Another one I posted this afternoon had a measured speed of 880 kph and I've seen at least two other absurd tickets recently on a car magazine, so they're not too uncommon
